The residents at the centre of a stand-off over temporary accommodation for survivors of the Carrickmines fire say they are not “the bad guys”.

Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Council has said they have had a constructive meeting with residents at Rockville Drive.

Residents blocking survivors of the Carrickmines fire from temporary accommodation are due to meet County Council officials again this morning.
