A burnt out car may yield clues to the assassination attempt on rogue loyalist Mark Haddock, it emerged today.

Four men are being treated in hospital in the North today after being shot in paramilitary-style punishment attacks last night. A 21-year-old man was shot in both hands and both legs in a late-night attack in Butler Place, in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast.
