Four men injured in shootings in the North

Four men are being treated in hospital in the North today after being shot in paramilitary-style punishment attacks last night. A 21-year-old man was shot in both hands and both legs in a late-night attack in Butler Place, in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast.

A 21-year-old man was shot in both hands and both legs in a late-night attack in Butler Place, in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast.

A 24-year-old man was also shot in the leg in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, by two masked men who approached him as he walked down the street.

A 19-year-old was shot in the arm and leg after being bundled into a car with a bag over his head in Larne, Co Antrim, while another 19-year-old was found at the rear of houses in Tynan Close in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, after being shot in both calves.
