Two men were being questioned in England tonight about the murder of church organist Alan Greaves, who was attacked on his way to midnight mass on Christmas Eve.

“MY SON”, spelt out in blue and white flowers beside the coffin of 23-year-old John Grey, was the last message from his heartbroken parents before he was laid to rest yesterday in Waterford.

FEARS for the lives of two young men who collapsed in separate incidents in the midlands over the weekend were eased yesterday when the condition of both improved from “critical” to “stable”.
