The sudden death of Clare senior footballer Niall White has left the county and the entire GAA community in total shock.

RONAN O'GARA is still limping but he has a good chance of making Ireland's starting line-up for the Six Nations Championship opener with Scotland at Murrayfield on Sunday.

The funeral mass for the former Fine Gael TD Jim Mitchell will take place tomorrow evening.
