TWO FAMILY resource centres in Waterford are to receive capital funding to the tune of €550,000.

Waterford IT are on course to retain their Fiztgibbon Cup title, after goals from Kilkenny's All-Ireland medal winner Brian Dowling and Waterford forward John Phelan helped them see off UCD 2-9 to 0-13 in this afternoon's first semi-final in Athlone.
