A suicide bomber driving a vehicle packed with explosives rammed into a bus carrying Shiite Muslim pilgrims in south west Pakistan, killing 17 people.

Unknown assailants fired rocket propelled grenades at the military academy near Osama bin Laden’s compound in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad early this morning, causing damage but no casualties, police said.
