A suicide bomber rammed a car full of explosives into a line of would-be police officers, killing at least 43 and injuring 45, in Algeria’s deadliest terrorist attack since the 1990s.

The death toll from a blast at an Algerian refinery has risen with at least 20 workers confirmed dead and 74 injured.

At least 13 workers were killed when a tank filled with liquefied natural gas exploded at an Algerian refinery, state radio said.
