Police have arrested a man in England over the murder of a pensioner in the North more than a decade ago, detectives said today.

FIVE elderly women had a lucky escape yesterday after they were overcome by carbon monoxide while enjoying afternoon tea.

A murder inquiry was launched today after a pensioner who was stabbed almost two months ago died in hospital.
