Two cyclists have been hospitalised while four others were also injured during a cycling event in Co Clare this morning.

A total of 341 vehicles were caught speeding on National Slow Down Day, gardaí have revealed.

Gardaí have detected 191 people speeding today, which is National Slow Down Day.

Two men died yesterday morning when the lorry they were travelling in lost control and crashed.
