A 34-year-old man was being questioned today after a six-hour armed stand-off at an apartment complex.

THERE were dramatic scenes in Waterford city last night as a man on top of a four-storey apartment block waved what appeared to be a gun.

Gardaí have been called in after a man barricaded himself into a house in Waterford City.
