The steward that was knocked to the ground after being hit with a plastic bottle during the chaotic scenes after last Sunday's Leinster SFC final has spoken for the first time since his ordeal.

Former Aussie Rules Player and current Laois senior footballer Colm Begley will confirm this week whether he will line out for Dublin club side Parnells this year.

Laois midfielder Brendan Quigley looks set to be available to play for the O'Moore county in this Saturday's Leinster Under-21 football final against Offaly in Portlaoise.
