WE read about famines in Sierra Leone, Somalia and other African States. Then we read about the US and the UN looking for billions of dollars from other countries to rebuild the infrastructure in Iraq, which was bombed into ruins by American and British forces.

I CONGRATULATE Finance Minister McCreevy for having the courage to do what has to be done to keep this country on the right road.
