A Dublin man has been sentenced to eight years for stabbing his friend in the stomach and chest leaving him with life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are looking for the public's help in the search for a man wanted in connection with an assault in Dublin last month.

A young Dublin man has been sentenced to a total of eight years for a number of offences including the stabbing of his aunt’s partner, threatening a neighbour and assaulting a former school pal with a broken bottle.
