People living close to a gas factory on the outskirts of Cork City have expressed concern after the second explosion there in less thanseven months.

One person has been rushed to Cork University Hospital following reports of an explosion in the past hour at the Irish Oxygen plant in Cork.

The cordon surrounding the Irish Oxygen Plant in Waterfall, County Cork, has been lifted following an explosion there this morning.
