The National Transport Authority has proposed an additional three buses for the Glen in Cork City and has given a commitment to look at future services.

Residents who blocked a bus yesterday have vowed to ramp up their campaign against Bus Éireann’s decision to axe a crucial bus service to their area.

People have been encouraged to take to the streets to fight cutbacks to the bus service on Cork’s northside.

THERE were calls last night for continued Government investment in the regeneration of Cork’s northside as one of the most ambitious phases of a housing project costing €120 million was officially opened.
