Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question four people after a heroin worth around €3,000 was found in the city centre yesterday.

Two brothers have been reunited after spending almost eight decades unaware of each others existence. Frederick, 80, and Jimmy O’Donnell, 78, were born in separate mother and baby homes in the 1930s. They moved through a series of homes before settling in Britain.

Gardai in Dublin have named the 40-year-old man who was shot dead in south Dublin last night as Raymond Sallinger, from Eugene Street.
