A man caught with a major haul of cocaine, money and guns has been jailed for eight years at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

A 29-year-old man was remanded in custody today after he was charged over cocaine seizures with an estimated street value of €10.5m in Dublin last week.

The discovery of cocaine worth €8m and two guns in a suburban “drugs factory” was branded a frightening exposure of Ireland’s criminal underworld tonight.
