SURELY it is in the public interest to delay the three by-elections and save the state the salaries and expenses in these times of hardship.

RECENTLY I drove through Castlemartyr, currently being banjaxed by Cork County Council, which should have built a bypass there. I left the 50km/h and 60km/h zones and, after about half-a-mile of 100km/h, we were slowed down to 60km/h on a newly surfaced and lined stretch of road.

MIGHT I offer a solution to the current impasse in the North?
