A couple have lost their appeals against a decision that Irish Bank Resolution Corporation is entitled to an order for possession of their family home arising from failure to repay a loan advanced in the 1990s.

A couple face losing their home after the High Court ruled that the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation is entitled to an order for possession of the property arising out of their failure to repay a loan advanced to them in 1990s.

Irish Bank Resolution Corporation is seeking possession of a Co Roscommon couple's family home over their alleged failure to repay €246,000 of mainly interest on a £69,000 loan obtained by them to buy an investment property in 1991.
