Sherpa rescuers have found the bodies of four climbers inside a tent on the highest camp on Mount Everest, raising the death toll this climbing season to 10.

AN American climber spoke yesterday of the ice fall that caused the deaths of 11 climbers on K2, including Limerick climber Gerard McDonnell.

New Zealander Mark Inglis, the first double amputee to reach the summit of Mount Everest, was congratulated today by another keen climber – prime minister Helen Clark.
