Music fans have been put on ‘Red Alert’ as Indiependence adds more acts to its stellar 10th anniversary line-up.

Since winning the Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition a year ago, Walking On Cars have been getting used to life in the fast lane. The last three months since the release of their debut EP As We Fly South have been particularly busy for the Dingle quintet.

In a festival landscape dominated by boutique and small-sized festivals, Indiependence is not just holding its own but is asserting itself as one of the essential events on the Irish live music calendar.

Irish indie favourites Bell X1 join De La Soul and Bastille as headliners at the Indiependence festival in Mitchelstown, Co Cork next August Bank Holiday Weekend.
