The proposed €180m Cork-Ringaskiddy motorway will have a devastating impact on some properties, especially in the Rochestown area, according to concerned residents.

Objectors to the proposed €180m Cork-Ringaskiddy motorway say it would split communities, cause increased physical and mental health problems, reduce life expectancy, and significantly devalue their properties.

It is hoped that revised plans for a €180m road between Cork and Ringaskiddy will ease the fears of some residents’ associations who expressed major concerns with the initial blueprint when it was launched in October.
