This week, I’m focusing on Veneto, home to some of my favourite Italian wines, such as Bardolino, Soave and, of course, many Irish people’s favourite: Amarone della Valpolicella.

DAVID McCANN (Grant Thornton Team Ireland) powered around a tough 46.75km time-trial course based in Bardolino and Lake Garda yesterday in a time of 1:14:94 to finish 15th in the world championship event won by Australian Michael Rogers.
