A 45-year-old man has pleaded guilty to impeding a Garda investigation into a fatal stabbing in Dublin last year, and is to be sentenced in January.

A man was charged today with impeding a person from apprehension and prosecution in connection with a fatal stabbing in Dublin in September.

A teenager has been sentenced to five-and-a-half years detention for a number of driving offences, one of which led to the owner of a car being dragged behind his moving vehicle after it was hijacked.
