FAMILIES whose members were treated by the disgraced former Killaloe GP Dr Paschal Carmody attended a meeting with the Minister for Health last evening at which they reiterated their demand for a full inquiry into the Medical Council’s complaints procedures.

TWO more complaints against disgraced doctor Paschal Carmody are to be referred to gardaí who are investigating the purported cancer cure business he ran with former colleague Dr William Porter.

THE Government must update the law to ensure that struck-off doctors cannot offer dubious alternative treatments to patients who are seriously ill.
