There has been no indication when an Irish woman being detained in Egypt will be released.

A mother and daughter from Galway have been allowed to cross the border from the Gaza Strip into Egypt after getting trapped in the occupied Palestinian territory earlier this week.

AN IRISHWOMAN who crossed a breached border into Gaza with her daughter says border guards were preventing them from returning to Egypt.
