Joanne O’Riordan has already addressed the UN, and the world once again seemed hers for the taking as a documentary into her life premiered in Cork City.

A film about an inspirational Cork teenager who was born with no limbs premieres tomorrow and will be screened across Ireland and possibly abroad as early as next month.

Researchers at a university are building a €75,000 robot which it’s hoped will dramatically change the life of a young woman born with no arms or legs.
