The builders are coming to Cork’s Skehard Road, following on the €850,000 auction sale last week of a house on 1.25 acres there, and with a dozen or two dozen new homes now expected to replace that old five-bed dwelling and its garden. 

A FÁS executive was charged today with 47 counts of defrauding the state training agency of more than €600,000.
