An Irish software technology company has today announced the addition of up to 50 new positions primarily in its R&D, sales and cloud services divisions.

FORMER AIB chief executive Michael Buckley is to head the new group that will advise the Government on enterprise policy, Enterprise Minister Micheál Martin announced yesterday.

SOFTCO, the document management software firm run by brother and sister team Alan Coffey and Susan Spence, saw its profits rise by nearly €1 million last year.
