St. Kieran’s College continue to reign over the schools’ hurling kingdom after a late goal from Conor Kelly and eight points from the stick of Eoin Cody helped them to retain their Croke Cup crown at the expense of Presentation College of Athenry this afternoon in Tullamore.

SIX unanswered points in the final 10 minutes steered St Kieran’s to another Leinster trophy after they came from behind to deny a gallant St Brendan’s, Birr at Balinakill yesterday.

A quiver of quality points from the stick of Kevin O'Reilly and an opportunist 54th-minute goal from Kilkenny inter-county panelist Willie O'Dwyer powered DIT to a deserved 1-10 to 1-7 victory over Carlow in today's Kehoe Cup final.
