A TV documentary about one of Ireland's missing women, Fiona Sinnott, indicates for the first time that she was the victim of abuse, up to six months into her pregnancy.

TV PRESENTER and former Rose of Tralee, Maria Walsh likes to keep herself busy and, despite frequently experiencing a restless mind in the early hours of the morning, plans to get even busier in the new year as she devotes more time to her new events agency, Juniper & Ruby.

Maria was talking at the IFTA Gala Television Awards on Friday night where she was nominated in the Rising Star category, which was won by comedian Al Porter.
