Communications Minister Eamon Ryan is today calling on Senator Ivor Callelly to pay back the €80,000 he claimed in expenses from the Seanad.

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has now demanded an explanation from another Fianna Fáil Senator over his expenses.

The Taoiseach has this evening ordered Senator Ivor Callelly to furnish a written explanation of his expenses claims to the Caoitherlach of the Seanad.
