AN inexperienced Cork outfit coped successfully without the bulk of their All-Ireland winners as they breezed past the challenge of Waterford IT in yesterday’s McGrath Cup preliminary round tie in Páirc Ui Rinn.

BRENDAN WALSH came back out of retirement to turn in a man-of-the-match performance that helped Clonakilty get their Evening Echo Cork SFC campaign back on track with a well-deserved victory over Bishopstown at Brinny yesterday.
