Kildare have been crowned TG4 All-Ireland Junior Ladies football champions at Croke Park, having staved off a late second-half rally - including two goals from 14-year-old Therese Marren - to win 2-13 to 3-5 against Sligo.

Kildare have one hand on the John Timmons Cup, despite hitting nine wides in the first half of this afternoon's TG4 All-Ireland Junior Ladies football final at Croke Park.
