Newly-released Colombian hostage Clara Rojas was reunited today with her three-year-old son who was fathered by one of her guerrilla captors, but later taken away from her.

VENEZUELAN President Hugo Chavez is prepared to send planes and helicopters into neighbouring Colombia to pick up three hostages who have been held for years by leftist rebels.
