Taoiseach Enda Kenny has indicated the report of a judicial inquiry into the departure of former garda commissioner Martin Callinan would be published in the “not too distant future”.

The Garda Inspectorate has said "it’s time to retire" the Garda Pulse computer system — saying the force desperately needs an entirely new platform.
