Formal charges have been brought against 28 people for suspected involvement in the July 11 Mumbai train bombings that killed more than 200 people in western India.

A Indian police investigator today said that authorities had apprehended “the main brain” behind the train bombings that ripped through Mumbai’s commuter rail network in July, killing 207 people.
