PRESSURISED pig farmers can reduce input costs by up to €20 per tonne by increasing their use of cheaper feeds, culling earlier and availing of feed credit from banks, say Teagasc experts.

FARMERS learned how to turn pig manure into money at a seminar on the findings of a three-year research project in Teagasc Moorepark in Fermoy, Co Cork.
