The Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources is preparing for a courtroom showdown with a chemical engineer in the new year over the Government’s renewable energy plans.

IN response to the letter from Pat Swords headlined ‘Pope’s wrong move on giving out communion’ (July 5), I must say I have never heard of anyone ever contracting germs from a priest while receiving holy communion on the tongue.

WHAT a contrast between the factual, objective letter from Pat Swords (April 24) on the reality of the situation in Ukraine and the misleading whinge from Dónal de Róiste whose letter (April 24) was a deliberate attempt to make people’s flesh creep, but it certainly was not based on fact.
