PAUL LE GUEN has emerged as a surprise contender to take over from Giuseppe Papadopulo as the new coach of Serie A side Lazio.

Lazio will unveil their new coach on Monday with former Siena coach Giuseppe Papadopulo widely reported to be the new man.
