Lazio to unveil new coach today

Lazio will unveil their new coach on Monday with former Siena coach Giuseppe Papadopulo widely reported to be the new man.

Before Christmas, club president Claudio Lotito announced that Mimmo Caso would no longer be in charge of the club ahead of their first match of the new year, the Eternal City derby with Roma.

A club statement issued on Saturday said: “Tomorrow (Monday) in a press conference at 4pm (3pm Irish time) during an official news conference the new coaching team will be presented to the media.”

Lazio never named the new coach but the Italian media believes Papadopulo will be the man.
