Saturday was a memorable day for Roscommon hurling as Gerry Fallon and Noel Fallon scooped the senior and Under-16 titles at the 2009 M Donnelly All-Ireland Poc Fada finals on the Annaverna Mountain.

Roscommon hurler Gerry Fallon braved the driving wind and heavy rain today on the Annaverna Mountain near Dundalk, to become to 2009 M Donnelly All-Ireland Senior Poc Fada champion.

Long-time Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins will aim for his fifth M Donnelly All-Ireland Poc Fada title and fourth in succession when he takes to the Annaverna Mountain in Dundalk this Saturday.
