Four Roads edge brave Oran

Four Roads 2-15 Oran 2-09

The winners pulled ahead in injury time after goalkeeper Noel Fallon saved Gerry Fallon’s 58th minute penalty.

A Four Roads rout looked likely when Johnny Coyne found the net in the third minute. But Oran hit back through Paul Kenny’s 24th-minute goal.

Three points in as many minutes from Kelly gave Four Roads a 1-6 to 1-5 lead at the break. Coyne and Kenny swapped goals before David Dolan’s free-taking and Kelly’s accuracy from play nudged the champions ahead.

Fallon’s penalty miss hurt as Darren Fallon, Coyne and Cathal Dolan found the target in injury time for the Tisrara men.
