Volunteers who have been at the forefront in promoting a famed harbour fort as a major tourist attraction are seeking to have a say in its future.

Planning is expected to be lodged within the next two months for a major parkland and carpark development in the heart of Crosshaven village in Cork.

LOCAL public representatives are to request that Cork County Council purchase a historic house as part of its plan to turn Cork’s lower harbour into a major tourist attraction.
