A leading children’s cancer expert has revealed that he has had to go to the courts on a number of occasions to ensure that children receive cancer treatment against their parents’ wishes.

A UK High Court judge today said there had been “developments” in the condition of a seven-year-old boy at the centre of a legal dispute over cancer treatment.
