The Special Criminal Court in Dublin today issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Dublin man who was due to stand trial next week on an IRA membership charge following a garda investigation into paramilitary activity at the funeral of murdered Real IRA leader Alan Ryan in 2012.

A Dublin man charged with membership of the IRA after a garda investigation in to paramilitary activity at the funeral of Alan Ryan in early September has been released on bail at the Special Criminal Court today.

A brother of murdered dissident republican Alan Ryan and another man have been charged with firearms offensives as part of a garda investigation in to the murder of Dublin man Michael Kelly in 2011.

Three men in their 20s and 30s have been charged with membership of the IRA in the Special Criminial Court in Dublin this morning.
