Camogie’s National League celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and it is fitting that the inaugural victors, Tipperary, are back in contention again after a lengthy spell in the doldrums.

Cahir (Tipperary) 0-14 Eyrecourt (Galway) 1-2: Cahir claimed the AIB All- Ireland intermediate club camogie title at Croke Park yesterday — less than four years after playing in the Tipperary junior B grade.
