THE mother of a baby, whose au pair died rescuing the child from under the wheels of a lorry, has called on trucking companies to act now and not wait for months before installing blind spot mirrors.

THE father of a German au pair crushed to death by a truck in Cork earlier this year said yesterday his daughter’s spirit lives on through the life of the child she saved.
