Sweden’s Michael Jonzon, with one European Tour win in 290 starts and fighting for his future, leads the Castello Masters in Spain with a round to play.

Defending champion Sergio Garcia remained a shot behind leaders Martin Kaymer and Robert Allenby after the completion of the second round at the Castello Masters in Spain this morning.

Len Mattiace and Michael Jonzon shared the lead on seven-under-par after the opening round at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Swede Michael Jonzon, a lowly 187th on the Order of Merit, raced into an early two-stroke lead today at the Omega European Masters – opening event of the 12-month race for places in Europe’s Ryder Cup team.
